Extremely busy, prestigious and design-driven Upper East Side architectural firm seeks highly competent, presentable, intelligent, team and detail-oriented full time junior designer to join firm in all phases of work on high-end residential projects plus administrative tasks. We are looking for an individual to assist Senior Interior Designer on several large projects. Tasks include shop / assemble color schemes, budgets, schedules, furniture layouts in ACAD, researching furniture, accessories, light fixtures, putting together purchase orders, researching products (which includes calling for pricing and samples and follow through with vendors), coordination with office architects, setting up presentation boards and a strong ability to juggle multiple tasks in a very fast paced firm. Depending on the individual, there is much growth and a lot to learn about design.
BFA Required + 4-5 years of experience, with excellent computer skills in MS Word & Excel, Photoshop ACAD and 3D knowledge. Candidate should be ready to hit the ground running and have extensive experience with interiors budgets and client interaction.

Immediate opening for a Project Architect committed to design excellence with a proven ability to realize built projects. The Project Architect will work closely with the Principal to establish design direction and lead projects from concept design through project completion.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with minimum of 2 years as a lead project manager or project architect for residential projects.
- Highly developed skills in client communications, contract administration, project scheduling, team leadership, building design, technical detailing and consultant coordination.
- Highly skilled in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3D rendering software.

TCA is seeking a highly creative Senior Designer who is passionate about design and takes leadership in design concept. This ideal individual will be the go to person to use their high level technical/computer design skills to turn ideas into reality. The ideal candidate must be able to quickly and readily generate concept sketches for multi-family and mixed-use design portfolio in a fast paced environment by using technical skills of SketchUp. Rhino, 3D Studio Max or similar programs. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years experience in architecture and a minimum 5 years experience in creating new multi-family residential designs. The Senior Designer will be located out of our Irvine or Los Angeles office.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to communicate ideas in presentations to firm leadership, team members, and clients. Must have strong architectural concepts, planning and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years experience in architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years on multi-family residential experience.
- Proficient in Sketch-Up, Rhino, and 3D Studio Max or similar modeling programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An exceptional portfolio representing recent work is required to be presented during interview.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture required.
- Licensed Architect preferred, not required.
