We have an immediate opportunity for a Job captain/ intermediate architect with a minimum of 6 years experience in diverse project types. Successful candidates will have experience in the preparation of Construction documents; demonstrate effective technical abilities, superior problem defining and solving skills. Candidates must also display effective communication, organizational and leadership skills. Candidate must be able to prepare detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to designs provided by architect. Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit drawing platforms, and be able to coordinate engineering disciplines analyze building codes laws etc., research materials and selections, prepare bid documents and support construction administration efforts. The candidate must be able to interact with clients, contractors, consultants and vendors on a high level.
The ideal candidate will have a dynamic portfolio in multiple market segments including but not limited to Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial and Government.
Architectural registration, LEED Accreditation and good knowledge of sustainable design practices is preferred.
The Applicant must be able to work independently in order to resolve complex design and technical issues to produce innovative and constructable solutions.

Right now we need your detailed knowledge to join our team at Leicester.
Reporting to the Technical & Commercial Director, you will produce viability layouts, detailed planning layouts for submission, bespoke house type elevations, street scenes and other supporting documents associated with the submission of planning applications.
A good knowledge of house building and the consultation process is essential, together with an awareness of emerging and changing legislation. Experience of working within a residential developer and a relevant HND/HNC (or equivalent) qualification would be ideal, though you could be a recent graduate who has specialised in this area.
Either way, you will need the ability to produce visibility layouts and detailed planning layouts utilising Autocad as well as the ability to work alone and as part of the technical team. Excellent communication and presentation skills and self-motivation are also required.
