A design-focused architectural practice based in New York City is looking for an Intermediate Architect to start immediately. The firm provides complete architectural services to a wide variety of clients with an emphasis on high-end residential, commercial and specialized retail projects.
We are seeking a highly qualified, intermediate architect with experience in high end residential projects. Applicant must have substantial experience in the design and production of custom single family homes and must have excellent technical and detailing abilities. Applicant must be proficient in handling all phases of a project from the design phase through construction Administration. We are looking for an energetic, precise individual with the ability to work well in a team, multi task and perform under pressure.
- Minimum 4 years experience.
- Experience in all phases of single family, ground up, residential construction and design.
- New York City experience in all phases of project development, from design to construction administration.
- Ability to manage projects and teams and work with client, consultants, and professionals.
- Strong design skills.
- Excellent AutoCAD and 3D modeling skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

EYP is currently seeking a Senior Designers in our New York City office to provide creative input and design direction on projects, support a collaborative design process, champion an integrated design approach, and work with EYP’s marketing team in the pursuit of design projects.
The Senior Designer will take a leadership role in design throughout all phases of projects, working in collaboration with Project Directors and other team members. In addition, the Senior Designer will advocate for EYP’s integrated design approach, use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design, strive to improve the technical quality of projects, lead design reviews, and strive to improve the technical quality of projects by keeping abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry. This position is also responsible for leading preliminary design work for marketing purposes, in collaboration with Project Executives and other team members; and making design presentations to potential clients.
Professional degree in Architecture and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in design, including some technical and management experience required. This position also requires a professional license in architecture and LEED accreditation. Must have proven design leadership skills, ability to develop and implement design on government and/or higher education projects, strong graphic and computer graphic skills and participated in projects that have won design recognition.

MHTN Architects in Salt Lake City is seeking a Project Designer / Project Architect, with a Higher Education focus in academic and student life responsible to guide projects from programming and pre-design through design documents and project completion. This individual will provide design direction to project teams and mentor junior designers.
Collaborate with Principal to determine project vision and develop design concepts; communicate effectively with client and project team; design in accordance with project budgets, schedules, codes and ordinances; review design documents for compliance with program and design concepts; direct and coordinate design consultants in all phases; generate and participate in client presentations and interviews; promote firm goals of excellence in design, execution and sustainability; research, develop and communicate knowledge and foresight in design and practice area trends.
Collaborate with Project Manager to organize project and document production; demonstrate understanding of project management process including scope, budgets and schedule; exercise maturity in architectural judgment in anticipating and solving complexities, determining program objectives and requirements; stay current with evolving building technology and systems; understand and coordinate engineering systems relevant to projects; perform construction administration duties for conformance with design intent; perform tasks in accordance to MHTN Standards / Project Delivery Manual.
Establish architectural budget, task schedule and other components of the project work plan; lead, organize and direct project design team; participate in new business pursuits, including contributing to marketing proposals.
